Returns

Items purchased from The Jewelry Exchange can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus any shipping costs. Only unused items in their original condition may be returned for a refund. Custom or engraved items are non-refundable.

To initiate a return, please contact us at returns@the-jewelry-exchange.com or call 1-800-000-0000. We will provide instructions on securely packaging and shipping the return along with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number that must be displayed on the return package. Returns without an RMA number may be rejected.

Returned items must be postmarked within 30 days of the original delivery date. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 2-3 business days. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to display on your account statement depending on your bank’s policies.

If a return is outside the 30-day window, we will determine eligibility for a refund or credit on a case-by-case basis. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We do not refund the original shipping costs unless the return is a result of our mistake.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for something else, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We can typically send the replacement item right away and provide a prepaid return label so you can send back the original item.

If exchanging for a lower priced item, we will refund the difference. If exchanging for a higher priced item, we will charge the difference in price. Custom or engraved items cannot be exchanged.

Refused Packages

If your order arrives damaged and you refuse the package, please contact us right away. We will file a claim and send a replacement item at our cost once damage is confirmed by the carrier. Refused packages can take several weeks to be returned to us.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs for any items you are unsatisfied with and choose to return. We recommend using a carrier that offers tracking and insurance to protect yourself should the return become lost or damaged.

For your convenience, we can provide a prepaid return shipping label for exchanges. In this case, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

Security of Returns

Your privacy and security are important to us. All returned packages are securely disposed of if they contain sensitive information, so you do not have to worry about removing documents, labels, etc. Returns are processed in a secure facility monitored by video.

Quality Inspection

All returned items are thoroughly inspected upon arrival at our returns facility. We examine for tampering, damage not caused by shipping, stains, missing accessories, etc. If returned merchandise shows signs of wear that decrease the value or resellability, we reserve the right to assess up to a 25% restocking fee.
